This is a little blog. I write in it every few years and then neglect it for a few more.
My name is Sara and I live in Toronto, Canada. Specifically I live in Cabbagetown which I absolutely love. The houses are gorgeous and the hobos introspective.
I am not from here and thusly find the long winters stupid and the “wet” Canadian sense of humour tiresome at times.
I am originally from Adelaide, Australia but have lived in Melbourne since 1999, whenever I’ve been back in the country. Melbourne feels like home, but having been in Toronto on and off for 6 years (and Canada for 11), it’s all a bit up in the air now…
I work in Event Coordination with a background in Production Management. This means I hate other Event Managers who have a background in helping to plan their prom and no fucking clue how to run events.
I swear a lot.
I am married to a nice young man who, after 3.5 years of marriage, I still very much enjoy. He has curly blonde hair and is smart with gender based generalisations like computers and barbecues.
I am secretly a nice person, but I can be intolerant and impatient with people (stupid people mostly). I am totally trying to work on this by never ever speaking to stupid people again. If you’re not stupid, I can definitely see potential for us. Potentially.
